AI calls for vehicle and appliance service-due reminders
From ₹1 a minute at volume (₹1,00,000/month commitment), or ₹5 pay as you go, no commitment
₹1 is the T1 voice rate. On T1, Mirai phone calling (₹0.30/min) and call insights (₹0.20/min) are optional; T5 includes both. All prices exclude GST.
From ₹1 a minute on the volume plan (₹5 a minute pay as you go), an agent calls owners whose periodic service is due each month, tells them what's due and until when, and offers a slot at their usual service centre. You get either a booking or the reason they said no, such as serviced elsewhere, vehicle sold or call next month, plus the odometer reading if they give one. Upload your dealer system's due list as it is, and the console remembers how you mapped its columns for next month.
No sign-up to look around.
On T1, per connected call
₹2for a 120-second call at ₹1/min
T1 has a ₹1,00,000 monthly commitment. Pay as you go on T5, the same call is ₹10.

How a call goes
A written example of the script, not a recording. Your agent says what your prompt tells it to, in your customer's language.
- Agent
नमस्ते Imran जी, मैं Acme Motors, Baner service centre की AI assistant बोल रही हूँ। आपके scooter की तीसरी free service due है, उसके लिए call किया।
Hello Imran, I'm the AI assistant of Acme Motors' Baner service centre. Your scooter's third free service is due, and I'm calling about it.
- Caller
अभी तो गाड़ी ज़्यादा चली भी नहीं है।
The scooter has hardly been ridden yet.
- Agent
समझ सकती हूँ। Free service की validity date से भी चलती है, आपकी पच्चीस October तक है। उसके बाद ये free नहीं रहेगी। अभी लगभग कितने km चली है?
I understand. The free service is also valid only up to a date, and yours runs till 25 October. After that it won't be free. Roughly how many kilometres has it done?
- Caller
तीन हज़ार आठ सौ के आसपास। कितना time लगता है service में?
Around 3,800. How long does the service take?
- Agent
आम तौर पर तीन से चार घंटे। Saturday सुबह नौ बजे या Monday सुबह दस बजे slot खाली है।
Usually three to four hours. Saturday at 9 in the morning or Monday at 10 is free.
- Caller
Saturday नौ बजे ठीक है।
Saturday at nine is fine.
- Agent
Saturday सुबह नौ बजे, Baner service centre. Booking हो गई है, आप RC की copy साथ ले आइए। धन्यवाद Imran जी।
Saturday at 9 in the morning, Baner service centre. It's booked; please bring a copy of the RC. Thank you, Imran.
What you send
One row per person you call
Upload a CSV to a campaign, or send the same fields as call variables from your own system. The phone number comes first; the other columns are what the agent reads out or decides on.
| Column | Example | What goes in it |
|---|---|---|
phoneRequired | +91… | The number to call, with the country code (+91…). A ten-digit Indian mobile gets +91 added. In Excel, format this column as Text first so the number is not changed. |
customer_nameOptional | Imran | — |
productOptional | scooter | Say it the way the owner would, not the model code from your system. |
service_typeOptional | third free service | — |
valid_tillOptional | 25 October | — |
service_durationOptional | 3 to 4 hours | — |
service_centreOptional | Baner | — |
vehicle_idOptional | VH-118842 | Extra info: never read out, returned in every webhook so the booking lands on the right vehicle. |
What comes back
The result of every call
Each call ends with one webhook event that carries the transcript and the result, and the campaign report has a row for every contact. These are the result fields an agent for this job fills in.
| Field | Example | What it means |
|---|---|---|
analysis.data.booking_status | booked | A field you define, for example booked, wants_callback, declined or wrong_number. |
analysis.data.slot | 2026-10-18T09:00:00+05:30 | The slot the owner accepted, when there was one. |
analysis.data.decline_reason | serviced_elsewhere | Filled only when they say no: serviced_elsewhere, sold, not_needed_yet, call_next_month or other. |
analysis.data.odometer_km | 3800 | If the owner gives a reading. Useful for planning the next reminder. |
metadata.vehicle_id | VH-118842 | Your id, unchanged. |
status | completed | How the call ended. Unanswered calls are free and retried while attempts remain. |
Cost
What a 120-second call costs
Worked out from our price list. 120 seconds is our assumption for a typical connected call of this kind, not a measurement from your calls. Put your own volumes into the AI calling cost calculator.
| Tier | Rate | Per connected call | Per 1,000 connected calls | Monthly minimum |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| T1 | ₹1 / min | ₹2 | ₹2,000 | ₹1,00,000 a month |
| T3 | ₹3 / min | ₹6 | ₹6,000 | ₹50,000 a month |
| T5 | ₹5 / min | ₹10 | ₹10,000 | None |
- T5 and T3 include Mirai phone calling and call insights. On T1 they are optional: phone calling at ₹0.30/min and insights at ₹0.20/min. With both on, this call comes to about ₹3 on T1. Mirai phone calling is metered on the carrier's billing block, so treat that figure as an estimate.
- T1's ₹1,00,000 monthly minimum pays for 50,000 calls of this length; T3's ₹50,000 monthly minimum pays for 8,333 calls of this length. Monthly commitments are credited to your wallet. Unused credit never expires. Paid usage counts towards the minimum, and only a shortfall is settled at month end.
- Calls that ring out, are busy or fail to connect are not billed. A voicemail is billed like a connected call.
In detail
AI calls for vehicle and appliance service-due reminders: in detail
Why do service-due calls suit an agent?
Periodic service brings owners back to the workshop, and the due list comes out of your dealer or CRM system every month whether anyone calls it or not. Calling it by hand is slow. Each owner needs the same reminder, and the questions repeat: how long will it take, what does it cost, is pickup available, can I come on Saturday. An agent can answer those from what you give it and book the slot on the same call.
The no’s are useful too. “Got it done outside”, “sold it last month” and “it’s hardly run, call me in December” are all reasons your team rarely writes down after a quick call. The agent records each one in a field, and after two or three months you have a picture of why owners leave your workshop that you didn’t have before.
The example here is a two-wheeler free service, where the owner pushes back because the scooter has barely been ridden. Water purifier filter changes, AC servicing contracts and car periodic maintenance follow the same pattern.
How do you set it up?
- Export the due list from your dealer or CRM system as CSV.
- In Agent Studio, write a prompt that uses
{{service_type}},{{valid_till}},{{service_duration}}and{{service_centre}}. Give it a short list of answers to common objections, such as why the date matters even at low mileage, and nothing it can’t back up. - For booking, add on-call HTTP tools pointing at your booking endpoint: one to read open slots for a day, one to book. Without an endpoint, have the agent record the slot the owner prefers and let an advisor confirm it by SMS.
- Turn on analysis with
booking_status,slot,decline_reasonandodometer_km. - Test in the browser: a happy booking, an owner who serviced elsewhere, and one who asks for a price you didn’t provide.
- Create a campaign in the console and upload the export as it is. In Columns, map your system’s headings (Mobile, Cust Name, Svc Type) to the agent’s variables, and mark ids as extra info. The console remembers this mapping for the agent in your browser, so next month’s export lines up by itself.
- If you call from your own numbers and pools are switched on for your workspace, group the numbers in a pool. A pool spreads calls across the numbers at a pace you choose and rests a number when it stops being answered, which helps a dealership that calls thousands of owners a month.
What should the service advisor still handle?
Repair estimates, warranty claims, complaints about the last service and anything involving an accident or insurance. The agent can’t transfer a call to the advisor yet; it notes the request so the advisor can call back. Owners who complain on a reminder call deserve a quick human callback, because a complaint left unanswered is how they end up at another workshop.
What should you check before calling owners?
TRAI’s Third Amendment to the TCCCPR, notified on 18 September 2026, describes a service call as one that gives a customer information about a product or service they bought, and it lists its warranty or service among the examples. It says such calls aren’t promotional and don’t need explicit consent. A service-due reminder to an owner fits that description. Pitching an extended warranty or accessories on the same call makes it promotional, so keep those out or run them as a separate, consented campaign.
The amendment also asks every sender to declare software-placed calls, artificial voice included, to its originating telecom provider in advance with the numbers it will use. Calls made without that declaration are treated as unsolicited. It takes effect in stages after publication. Check TRAI’s current rules and your consent records before you set calling hours, and scrub the list against DND yourself, because we don’t do that for you.
What does a reminder cost?
On T1 a connected minute costs ₹1 with a ₹1,00,000 monthly commitment, plus ₹0.30 for Mirai phone calling and ₹0.20 for call insights if you switch them on. On T5 it’s ₹5 a minute, pay as you go, with both included. Prices exclude GST. Only connected calls are billed. The cost block assumes about two minutes connected, an estimate for a reminder with a question or an objection and a booking; a quick “already done” ends in seconds. Compare it with the value of one serviced vehicle. Pricing has the plans and the cost calculator takes your monthly due-list size.

Questions
Can it quote service prices?
Only the ones you give it. Pass a price note as a variable, or keep a short fixed list in the prompt, and tell the agent that anything else is for the service advisor. It won't work out a repair estimate.
Do we have to rebuild the column mapping every month?
No. When you map your export's columns in the console's Columns step, the mapping is remembered for that agent in that browser, so next month's export from the same system is matched for you.
Can it book straight into our dealer system?
Yes, if your system has an endpoint the agent can reach over HTTPS. Add an on-call tool that reads open slots and one that books. If it doesn't, have the agent record the preferred slot and let a service advisor confirm it.
What if the owner has sold the vehicle?
The agent records it as the decline reason and ends the call politely without asking about the new owner. Your system can then drop the vehicle from future reminder lists.
How can a service reminder cost ₹1 a minute?
₹1 a minute is the T1 voice rate, for teams that commit ₹1,00,000 a month, and the commitment is credited to your wallet. We can price it there because we run our own speech recognition, language model and voice on our own GPUs in India; owning the stack is how we keep a minute cheap at volume. On T1, Mirai phone calling adds ₹0.30 a minute (nothing from us if you bring your own Plivo number) and call insights add ₹0.20 a minute if you turn them on. Wallet credit never expires, though the commitment is a minimum monthly spend. A single workshop can start on T5 at ₹5 a minute, pay as you go, with phone calling and insights included. T3 is ₹3 a minute with a ₹50,000 commitment. Prices exclude GST.
