The rate is the same on both plans. Choose Business when 5 requests at a time is not enough.

- Monthly commitments are credited to your wallet. Unused credit never expires.
- Each request is rounded up to the paisa, and only completed audio is charged. The output format and sample rate do not change the price.

How the estimate works
The formula
The rate is from our price list. The API counts the characters it bills for each request and returns that count, so a test request with your own text tells you how your words turn into characters.

Both fit Pay as you go, as long as 5 requests at a time is enough for how fast you need the audio.
Questions
How is text to speech billed?
₹1.80 per 1,000 characters, from a prepaid wallet. Each request is rounded up to the paisa, and only completed audio is charged.
How many characters is a word?
It depends on the language and the script. The calculator starts at 6 characters per word, a rough figure for English text with its spaces, so change it to match your own text. The API reports the characters it billed for each request in the X-Chars-Billed header.
What does the Business plan add?
More requests at once: 25 instead of 5, with a ₹50,000 monthly commitment. The rate per character is the same on both plans. Monthly commitments are credited to your wallet. Unused credit never expires.
Does the audio format change the price?
No. WAV, raw PCM and the 8 kHz phone formats cost the same, and so does the sample rate.
Do these prices include GST?
No. All prices exclude GST.
₹1 is the T1 voice rate. On T1, Mirai phone calling (₹0.30/min) and call insights (₹0.20/min) are optional; T5 includes both. All prices exclude GST.
